Deep purple in the glass with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, anise and earthy spice. The palate is bold and firmly structured, showing dense black fruit, cocoa and savoury herbal notes. Strong yet well-shaped tannins carry through to a long, dry, powerful finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Think slow-braised beef cheeks, osso buco, chargrilled ribeye, or wood-fired lamb shoulder with rosemary and garlic. It also pairs beautifully with wild mushroom ragù, Pecorino or aged cheddar.
