Refund & Returns Policy 20.11.25
1. Overview
At Tim’s World of Wine, we want every customer to enjoy their experience—from browsing our selection to opening each bottle at home.
If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy outlines your rights and our process for refunds, returns, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Change of Mind
Because wine is a consumable product, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds or returns for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you simply no longer want the product.
We encourage customers to contact us before purchasing if they need guidance choosing a wine.
3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
We will happily refund or replace your order if:
-
Your wine arrives damaged
-
You receive the wrong product
-
The product is faulty (e.g., cork taint, oxidation, spoilage)
What to do:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@timsworldofwine.com.au and include:
-
Your order number
-
A brief description of the issue
-
Clear photos of the product and packaging
-
Whether you prefer refund or replacement
We will assess the claim promptly and arrange either a replacement or refund.
4. Returns Eligibility
To qualify for a return or refund:
-
Bottles must be unopened (unless claiming a wine fault)
-
The product must be in the original packaging
-
Claims for breakages must be made within 48 hours of delivery
5. Faulty Wine (Corked or Spoiled Wine)
Wine faults can occur naturally. If you believe your wine is faulty:
-
Keep the bottle (including remaining wine and the cork/screw cap)
-
Contact us within 7 days of opening
-
We may arrange collection or request a photo/video of the issue
If confirmed faulty, we will provide a replacement bottle or store credit.
6. Delivery Issues
If your order is lost or not delivered, we will investigate with our delivery partners.
If the parcel cannot be located, you will receive a full refund or replacement.
If delivery is delayed due to incorrect address information supplied by the customer, we cannot offer compensation or refund for delivery delays.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
