The bouquet opens with violet florals, ripe black cherry and crushed blueberries over smoky incense and warm granite minerality. On the palate it is concentrated and plush yet fresh, offering dark plum, black olive, cracked pepper and a hint of mocha-earth. The finish is long, structured and refined, with fine tannins and a persistent mineral thread.
 
FOOD PAIRING: Char-grilled rib-eye steak, lamb shoulder with rosemary & garlic, wild boar ragù, aged Comté, truffle mash and black olive tapenade.
