GRAPE: Cabernet Sauvignon

REGION: South Australia, Barossa Valley

 

Aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and cedar lead the nose. The palate is rich and structured, showing plum, black berry fruit, a touch of mint and fine oak tannins. The finish is long and elegant with lingering dark berry and subtle spice.

 

FOOD PAIRING: Grilled rib-eye steak, beef bourguignon, aged cheddar, lamb chops with rosemary, mushroom and truffle pizza, chocolate-dipped blackberries.
